Sunday Souvenirs // 2
Today I had to cut my hair. Yep, we finally got to that point. Thankfully, my hair is 2b/2c wavy-curly so any holes or weird places will get eaten up in the texture. (fingers crossed) Link below for the tutorial that helped me go for it!
I hope you're well this week. It was one of my hardest yet. I do not do well with uncertainties and this week has been all shifting sands. We'll make it through with plenty of meditation, baths, and yoga. Yoga has saved my life several times before in tough situations, and I always recommend a little living room flow with Adrienne (linked below).
I’m also actively trying to change my mindset from “at least ___” to “I am grateful for ___.” And, after listening to this great interview with Dr. Ali Mattu, I’m allowing myself to experience any gratitude and sadness while also holding space for folks who are in different, more difficult situations. We’re all in difficult places, they’re just different flavors.
