Sunday Souvenirs // 8
It's here! The high point of the year - the longest day has (as you're reading this) passed, and we are full of the lush green promise of the season.
This solstice is also the new moon in Cancer, a water sign full of nurturing and healing. Because Cancer is a maternal energy, we can use this time to be our own parents and to work to heal ancestral wounds. As part of my celebration of the day, I did a little intention setting practice writing out 3-5 things for each:
I will nourish...
I will release...
I will offer...
How can we be better caregivers to ourselves and those around us? How can we use our strengths and skills in this time to uplift and heal? What in our own ancestral past needs to be healed? In a circle with some beautiful women this weekend, I was reminded that healing the present heals our past and our future. The waves of healing ripple out from us and have benefits for everyone around us.
Take care, friends. Let it wash over. (Brb, going to put my feet in some water)
xx,
Callahan
